Utilise an existing template""

Choose an option:

  • From the Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, or Sites habitation screen, at the summit, select one of the featured templates. Click Template gallery to encounter additional templates.
    Annotation: If you can't find Template gallery, get to Brandish or hide Template gallery.
  • If you already have a file open up in one of the Docs editors, click File and then New and then From template and select the template you want.
  • From Bulldoze, click New and next to Google Docs, Sheets, Slides,Forms, or Sites point to the Right arrow"" and click From a template.

Create your ain template""

You can use this characteristic only if your organisation supports it. For help, contact your administrator.

  1. Cull an option:
    • Create a new document, spreadsheet, presentation, form, or site.
    • Open up an existing certificate, spreadsheet, presentation, form, or site and make the changes you desire for your template.
    Note: If your template file is in a shared drive, check the sharing settings on the shared drive. Sharing restrictions can prevent people from accessing the template. Come across Share and collaborate in shared drives.
  2. From the Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, or Sites home screen, at the top, click Template gallery and then your organization name.
    Note: If you tin can't find Template gallery, go to Display or hide Template gallery.
  3. Click Submit template.
    Important: Yous won't be able to submit a template if you exercise not take permission to modify the sharing settings of your template, or if the template sharing settings have been set to restrict viewers and commenters from downloading the file.
  4. Click Select a document and choose the template file you created.
  5. Click Open.
  6. (Optional) To submit a copy of the file instead of the original, check the box.
  7. Select a category for your file.
  8. Click Submit.

    To notice your new template, go to Template gallery and thenselect your template.

Display or hibernate Template gallery""

  1. Open Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms or Sites.
  2. At the top, click Bill of fare "" and then Settings.
  3. Check the Display recent templates on home screens box and click OK.
  4. If you hide Template gallery, you can all the same go to the templates, if needed. At the lesser of Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, or Sites, indicate to New"" and click Cull template "" to open the gallery.
